The Ball-X are the strongest axles on the market because there are more than 3x the contact area to distribute the torque load across. The ball bearings move freely throughout their entire range of operation without any binding. The Ball-X also has the biggest working angle of 50°.

Outer race
Hardened steel.
The inside of the race is milled on 5 axis CNC machines for maximum travel and precise fit for the ball bearings. This travel optimizes the angle at which the joint can operate. These tracks are cut at an angle that allows the joint to travel through the entire range of motion without binding.

Inner race
Hardened steel. Chrome plated for outstanding durability.

Ball bearing cage
Brass. Precision machined. Holds the ball bearings in place with minimal friction.

Axle shaft
5mm Spring steel. More than enough to handle the insane power of today’s brushless systems.

Differential outdrives.
Hardened steel. Precision machined.

Ball bearings
Special alloy. Together with our specially blended grease. These ball bearings will last for seasons of racing.

Note: Please use ball bearings from TVR only. Other ball bearings will damage the inner and outer races.
